It starts like snowing, slowly and cool
Then it leaves you freezing in a colourless view
You try to escape it, you're trying in vain
Every part of your being screames out in pain
You wish that tonight you'll die in your sleep
Maybe by taking more than just one pill
Now It doesn't matter what doctors will say
They can never save you, so you end it today
Ask them if it's worth the price that you pay
To spare them some tears you're hiding your pain
Ask them if they could survive all this too
They would kill themselves to escape, just like you
You are stuck wondering on an endless road
You're falling and falling, will it ever stop?
Words can't express the pain that you feel
But you won't even try, your lips are sealed
The world won't notice what you're going through
Now people avoid you, that's nothing new
So you're crying alone stuck in your room
Thinking about how you're gonna leave soon
Ask them if it's worth the price that you pay
To spare them some tears you're hiding your pain
Ask them if they could survive all this too
They would kill themselves to escape, like you do

I’ve been there too and this is a perfect interpretation of the feelings you feel when you reach the abyss, a dark place where you feel lonely and hopeless.
But hang in there, it’s worth it to fight the struggles of present for a better future
I couldn't put it in better words. Thank you for commenting again! I really appreciate it! And thank you for taking the time to read my poem. I am actually new to poetry and it is really encouraging to read comments like yours! Thanks again 😊
Welcome aboard dear poet! Hoping to see more!❤️
Sometimes, I would like to murder the doctor. But, others I'm grateful. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for commenting 🙂
I've felt this way too. Especially when my daughter died.
Now I have come to realise that there is a 100% chance that one day I will die. So I may as well find something today that I know I will enjoy doing. I'll find something tomorrow too. Because when I do eventually die I'll never enjoy anything ever again.
Your poem was interesting to read and I hope you can find enjoyment.
I'm so sorry for your loss. About a month ago my cousin died in a motorcycle accident. He was only 18 years old. At his funeral the weather was windy and his mother, my aunt, was practically begging him saying "Get up my son. It's cold, we have to go". I will never forget the "colour" of her voice. It was the saddest sound I've ever heard. I've seen how devastating it is for a parent to lose their child, I'm sorry you had to experience that. Thank you for commenting. I hope you do enjoy your days, on behalf of your daughter too, as much as possible.
