Flowers

jusadillpickle2

They asked me why I left.

I simply answer.

I wanted flowers.

Now I know that sounds selfish, Immature, and just bizarre.

What I really mean when I say I wanted flowers.

I mean, I wanted to know that you were thinking about me on a random Thursday.

I wanted to know that I was on your mind and that you didn’t forget about my existence once you wasn’t in my presences.

When I said I wanted flowers.

I wasn’t talking about the beautiful bouquet the florist took hours to make.

I was talking about your time.

I wanted to feel wanted by you.

I wanted to feel like I was on your mind.

Without dragging your name, and telling my story of pain that was once our life.

When they ask why I left.

My answer will stay the same.

I’ll tell them I wanted flowers, and that they should have a nice day.

If someone is not willing to give their time they don’t deserve you! You deserve flowers indeed! Nice poem❤️
