Memorial day

 

It's memorial Day a day for vets,

The majority of us simply forget

We shall honor those who served and fought the war

Well many of us will be at the store

Getting things ready for the day

I salute you is all I can say

It falls on the last Monday of May

It's the soldiers that had to pay

It's a somber occasion a time to honor

Let's not let this day become a goner

We put flowers on their Graves

For those who were the bravest of the brave

We salute those who are wearing their scars

In my eyes their the stars ⭐✨✨⭐

I'm gonna end my so called poem

Hoping all stay safe at home 🏠🏡
