Life is not always the way that it seems

 

Sometimes a nightmare is your only dream

 

People see your smile and think all is fine

 

They cannot see the pain that is in your mind

 

They think that you are riding so very high

 

They cannot see the hurt in you that you cry

 

You have no right to be sad they will say

 

They have never lived a life through your day

 

Stalked by your deepest of dark fears

 

Feeding off every drop of every single tear

 

You wish for the end to your nightmarish dream

 

They call it life but it is not what it seems
