They were twins, they looked exactly alike
But one was painted black and the other painted white
One always on time the other a latecomer
One was just like winter and the other just like summer
Although they both knew the pain of the abused
One was bound to win and the other bound to lose
So...
To the boy who grew up bitter, and fate tore apart
To the boy who yearned for power but had a broken heart
To the boy who tried to get out of the shadow of the other
To the boy who sought the love and acceptance of a mother
To the man who caused destruction to hide his troubled soul
To the man who was killed by the one who shared his blood
Although everyone knows that this had to be done
For the world was more important than the life of this man
To the winter, to the loser, to the colour black
For whom summer cries and wishes to come back
You were not alone
You were always loved
Let the sky wait a bit and hear the words of another
Can you hear him say "Goodbye, i love you brother"?

You have portrayed the distinction beautifully 💖 I just wanted to confirm if one brother killed the other? a very emotional poem indeed! Well written!
Thank you for your comment 😊 It's really nice to hear your encouraging opinion again! To answere your question even in the game the one kills the other. The two twin brothers are on opposite sides. One of them has no care for humanity and constantly hurts people in his pursue for power and the other is fighting to protect humanity. In my poem the good guy had to kill the bad guy in order to save the world but i wanted to make it clear that, even though he killed his brother, he always loved him. Also i wanted to make the bad guy appear more human. Thanks again for commenting! I really enjoy hearing from you!
Wow! Such an emotional piece portrayed so well! The selfless nature of one brother and the other, though he is evil he still has love for his brother. The context is so touching. I really appreciate you explaining the backstory! A great poem!❤️
Actually it is the good guy who had to kill his "evil" brother😅. The poem is dedicated to the evil brother who sought destruction but only because he was deeply hurt inside. It's meant to show that the good brother loved the evil one but he had to kill him to save the world.
Sorry...i guess i didn't explain it well before😅...i hope you will still like it even in this new light...
Ohh my bad😅😅 of course I love it even more! It shows how the bad guy is human too and that he has his own reasons to turn out the way he did ! The good guy ,though he killed his brother ,he loved him, and is it the same with the bad guy? Did he love his brother as well? Hoping to see more😊
Well, when it comes to the bad guy he mostly resented his brother because he felt like he couldn't step out of his brother's shadow. That's because the good guy was always better than him in everything they did. The good brother was a winner and the evil brother was a loser. The good brother was like summer and the evil brother like winter. Although they mostly had the same experiences (they both knew the pain of the abused) they were completely different, like black and white. The bad guy felt like no one, not even his own mother, loved him. So he resented his brother for being loved, even though his brother loved him (you were not alone, you were always loved)... that's why at the end the good guy, crying over his dead brother says "Goodbye, i love you brother" but it was said too late.
Sorry for the long reply😁
