of immensity in June’s Legacy

L. B. Mek

Notice of absence from L. B. Mek
'fare ye well' kind friends

I’m so Proud I lived
In era that established
Importance of PRIDE

and so proud that I don't live in a time
where people are forced to keep who they are inside
where they aren't forced to hide
it fills me with pride
to know no one is ever completely alone
even when they have no house they aren't without a home

I'm so proud of the ones yesterday
And of today who survived their cruelty
So all rest in the bright colors
of our boundless bright pride
The keys to our locked hearts
are present in our own mind.
So remember,
You are free to do what is not wrong
You are free to express your colors
You are free to free yourself
from your bound freedom

Let's hope it continues to improve.
The world can still be a cruel place.
