Morning mist
I met you in the midst of the morning mist
You had a type of kindly countenance we kissed
Dew settled on your silky soft and silver hair
We strolled and saw the sunrise Shimmering rays of sunlight
Shining through the air

if I confess
I find your poetic talent
resembling, that
of a modern day
Li Bo
I truly hope, you understand
the depth of such a compliment
dear Poet..
(I wish you all the success you desire;
I just hope
you stay humble
and enjoy, those simple
pleasures in life..
although, it must be hard
when you've been gifted
such a brilliant, intellect...
I bow to your superior, poetic talent)
thank you! for Choosing
to share

Truely remarkable
I feel honoured
Li Bo is my favourite poet!
I also write in Chinese and
refer to him as Li Bai {alternative}
李白
I never tire of reading Pubu 瀑布
I have never attempted to follow his style
A few weeks ago I wrote a tribute to Li Bai and Pubu
Visiting Pubu
looking for signs of Libai
Flows from 9th Heaven
拜訪瀑布乎
志找李白其足跡
從九天落下
I first discovered humility in
early primary school. I thought it was tough in those days but compared to others, nothing. I feel as proud to have worked picking up rubbish and sweeping the streets of Japan as to have taught Japanese school children and teachers.
So your compliments reach ears
that understand fully the depth
of their meaning.
I am crying now
Here is another by Li Bo
I am Zengda 曽達
夜宿山寺 李白
危樓高百尺
手可摘星辰
不敢高聲語
恐驚天上人
翻譯 曾達
Overnight in the Mountain Temple
A toppling Tower
One Hundred Feet
I can touch Stars
Not game to speak aloud
Lest I arouse the one
in Heaven
'Why do I live in the green mountains?
I laugh and answer not, my soul serene
I dwell
in another paradise, where earth belongs to no man
Where peach trees blossom
forever, and the rivers flow on and on'
(may poesy
be Our, green mountains
dear Poet)
thank you!
