Lost

RL Randall

Lost

I am in a field

surrounded by tall grass and wild flowers.

I sit down,

then you appear.

You hold my hand and kiss me.

I turn to look

at a crow in a distant tree.

The following moment,

you are gone.

And I find myself

in a doorway

watching the falling snow.

Thank you for the compliment. I feel dreams are a way of trying to make sense of one's emotions.
