It has been 40 years since "Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan" was released in theaters. It was released on June 4, 1982. "Space Seed" is my favorite Star Trek episode. The Wrath Of Khan was a sequel of that episode and it is my favorite Star Trek movie. Sadly, many of the cast members of that movie have passed away.
DeForest Kelley (McCoy/Bones) died on June 11, 1999 at the age of 79. Merritt Butrick (David/Kirk's son) died on March 17, 1989 at the age of 29. Bibi Besch (Carol) died on September 7, 1996 at the age of 54. Leonard Nimoy (Spock) died on February 27, 2015 at the age of 83. James Doohan (Scotty) died on June 20, 2005 at the age of 85. Ricardo Montalban (Khan) died on January 14, 2009 at the age of 88, and Paul Winfield (Terrell) died on March 7, 2004 at the age of 64.
Even though those actors have passed away, they are still remembered. Many people loved and still love "The Wrath Of Khan". I honestly believe that all of those deceased actors will never be forgotten.

Bill Shatner is still alive. I listened to Bill Maher's "club random" a few weeks ago to a fascinating interview with William Shatner. What a humble, humerous and all round good guy he is.
