Chic Pot

Chic Pot

Sprouting through the chic painted pot, its green leaves holding its orange petals seemed to start representing so many particles of life.

The memory of painting the pot, the happiness in the project, feeling like the woman who birthed me.

The leaves stick out over the edge of the pot like a child who has stayed out in the park an hour too late… The two flowers that head the pot are intertwined and inseparably glued to one another.

The white pot has soil finger prints from the rushed insertion of soil when mid may peaked its busy head at one.

Each day the flower had a new story, a new meaning, a new outlook. So is life to be looked at with fresh eyes each day?
