Tree of Life

LexiLou

Tree of Life

A bound root too scared to grow

For elements are harsh and ground’s blanketed with snow

Elements everywhere too much for the weak to bear

Nutrients of the soil are all so unstable and marshed

Oh Little Root of the great big tree, trying first starts with a start

But Tell me why,  would any root, want to grow in a place like that?

Live a lifeless life, hidden behind the light, in solaced caves like a  bat

Wee Little Root, absorb the energy,  of your wise big brother trees

Be drenched and warmed by the  open skies, you’ve been given all you need

My naive Little Root, it’s my wish for you to behold all that I have seen

Bud, branch out, for when you return, you will have invented new avenues of leaves
