Jealousy (i know this is bad)

idontknowwhatimdoing

What is this feeling,

Annoyance, anger, or envy?

These emotions I feel, there’s very, very many.

I can’t stand the way she’s better than me,

I feel my anger rise like a crashing sea.

But this can’t be jealousy,

I don’t feel this intentionally.

I see her with someone whom I cannot compete.

They seem to just knock her right off her feet.

This jealousy for her,

is so hard to hide.

I feel like a blur,

She’s the queen, and I’m just right beside.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I know this poem is like actually horrible, but I guess I just kind of wrote it because I tend to get jealous of my friends sometimes, and I don't normally like to feel jealous about my own friends, who are allowed to laugh with people other than me, but I get jealous because of it.

Honestly it’s really good for your first! And being jealous to an extent is quite natural. It’s unintentional and hard to hide. You have portrayed it well!
