Rain

Dane Kyle

Have you heard the rain cry,

When the sun sleeps at night and the moon at day,

Have you heard the rain yearn, when it crashes down, so cold to cause a burn.

The rain and his sorrow is never understood,

For it can be tomorrow that his sorrow is good.

At sunshine and a refraction glare, the rain can smile for his sorrow is bare.

Exposed to his glory,

Have you heard the rain cry?

He is telling his story.

A touching poem and quite rare in that the rain is presented in the masculine. Thank you for sharing.
