Less

luckybutterflies_

i pinch the skin of my belly, wishing it would shrink the way my spirit has since you broke me // into the two pieces of a scratched record, stuck on the same word // if i am hungry, it's just for love // trust // touch // a fingerprint would do, what a micro sign of affection but i've bartered with less // if love is just a currency i know i've fucked in the cocktail lounge for less // i swear i'd take drugs from any stranger if it meant i could just feel less // so if it's money you want, it's in the cash register - you can have it all // i pinch myself again
