Grandfather

Moonlight01

God gifted you to me,

Really awesome that I got my wish granted.

And all my miseries seem to end

Nevertheless again.

Dear grandfather,

Far from me you will never go.

Aromatic flowers in my garden say there is something ahead

Time has come for you to leave me,

Hardest goodbye I will ever have to say.

Everlasting was the impression on me,

Remembered you are forever.

He is blessed to be your first poem. It took many years before I was able to write one for my grandfather after he died. And I feel that I haven't done a proper job for him, either. This is an accomplishment in times of grief. Thanks for sharing./Rik.
