Lovers tree

kitty the naughty poet

Meet me under the twining trees

where lovers perished beneath the branches

that form the shape of my heartbeat

breathing through the slivery moonlight dew.

Swirling upon the river of poison fears

the skeletons of two lovers meet

to hold each other again until the moonlight disappears

crumbling to pieces under the sun's burning gaze.
