Many Rivers To Cross

ForeverJesus7

Many rivers to cross,

But I can't seem to find,

My way over.

Wandering, I'm lost,

As I travel along,

the white cliffs of dover.

I've been licked,

Washed up for years,

And it's only the Lord,

That keeps me alive.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This is not actually my poem. For those who do not know, I had took this piece from the first few lines of the song, 'Many Rivers To Cross', by Jimmy Cliff. Persistence is key
