to forgive yourself.
This lesson was always fated.
How were you suppose to know
it was fated to be a ugly lesson?
You are not stupid for trusting
someone with your heart.
No, you are brave for allowing
someone to carry your heart.
No, you are not stupid
for being so giving.
Your beautiful heart is
a rarity in a world of thieves.
It may not feel like it now but
this lesson has been a gift.
Now you are aware of your strength.
Now you know what qualities
you don’t like and do like.
Now you know the signs
of someone who will break
your heart.
