Forever is such a short time

To spend a day with you

To watch a bird’s balletic beauty

Under skies of blue

To see the Earth and all her creatures

Both are are quite bizarre

To walk under a Winter’s night

Gazing at the stars

To become who we really are

And do what we have done

Such a short time to do it all

Yet we have hardly begun

Forever is a short time indeed

Though we were not granted even that

So short is our time together

If not for my tears, I would laugh
