A Life Forgotten

Osana

                     COVID, a pandemic-pandemic sound

                                    That whirls the world around

Like a winged evil, it glides

But the side effects it yields

                                            Does it keep aside?

The kids, the mature, everyone's bliss

It just blows like a gloomy wind would do.

The room, its four margins would never be crossed

It has to be our dwell, the bureau and the place where we would be lost.

The park felt lonely, the children sensed the same,

Coz, there was nothing outdoor but only indoor games.

The students, as us are feeling low-spirited

                            without a match-stick as a candle felt.

Most exams continue, but some needed, linger

both in the academic, as well as in the medical.

They sit in a closed space, taking a pencil

and listing what their minds say.

The fan spins and whispers some words of hope

which gives us peace and cools the unsound soul.

The life of one and all has paused.

The depression and gloominess has encircled us.

Some pain, some unhappiness, the virus is passing to us.

Regular Yoga, few precautions and healthy diet

are the keys to overcome this hidden virus.

Come, let's unite and defeat it by being desirous.
