A Letter to Me:

robin1388

I am sorry for being so tuff on you when all you needed was rest

I am sorry for pushing your limits and pressing your buttons until you explode

and i’m sorry that I got mad when you did explode

I am sorry for the countless nights I kept you awake tossing and turning and overthinking

I am sorry for constantly bringing you down

and I am sorry I thought you weren’t good enough when you didn’t get back up

I am sorry I never took care of you like I should have

I am sorry that I made you believe that you could be completely perfect

and I am sorry that I got mad when you made the slightest mistake

I have realized I have never said thank you

Thank you for letting me run through the grass, playing softball for the first time with my dad

Thank you for letting me pick up a paintbrush to paint in the kitchen with my mom

Thank you for letting me be social enough to meet my best friend in 5th grade

Thank you for letting me walk through the halls on my first day at a new high school

Thank you for letting me go out late at night and make questionable choices

Thank you for letting me get back up after every heartbreak

Thank you for letting me go to college and meet the best people

Thank you for everything you have brought me through so far

the good and the bad

Thank you and I am sorry
