There’s more into poetry

it’s not just to make things rhyme

it opens up our soul

when it builds up after time

 

to be open and to be free

and let everything out

what we scream on the inside

and just want to shout

 

it lets us free our emotions

and what is actually real

under the laughs and smiles

we write how we really feel

 

you can write about any of your thoughts

or even what’s in your imagination

you just have to start writing

and make your own creation

 

family, friends, life, or love

spiritual, nature, or death of a loved one

it can be whatever you want

anything or anyone

 

once you give it a try

and just start to vent

you’ll feel a little relieved

and be glad with your time spent
