You wear your smile like it's a mask
You can get high but it won't last
You bury the pain deep within
Cover the scars with longer sleeves
But there's a fire in your heart
Burning brighter when it's dark
It's okay if you want to cry
But just keep going, you'll be alright
You'll fall sometimes, it's not a crime
You should keep your head held high
You're only human, keep that in mind
We make mistakes all the time
You can lay your armour down
Let it fall, crash on the ground
It's okay to let it hurt
And let your body feel the dirt
For there's a lesson to be learnt
There's a joy in standing up again
