The mind

tara hester

They say you get over it

The unrested mind

Bleeds for a answer

Your hopes are high

Everything in your head spins in circles

Day by day

Still lost from the beginning

Your mind like a maze hoping to find the end

Just like your problems

unbearable pain stays in the heart

Beauty in her eyes weighs down the sorrowful look

abandonment wonders in her mind

discomforting memories

All in her head while you were sleeping at night

I found love where it was not supposed to be

eidetic imagery I see when I close my eyes

I wish there’s a way to create a wall between lust and love

I stayed on my mind to forget the whole world

Just to come back and be lost again
