The Lavender Apocalypse

Areon101

The lavender petals drift around me in the wind,

As ominous dark clouds blanket the once bright sky.

This isolation poisons the chastity of my youth,

While this silence forces me to face what I fear the most.

The petals transform from beauty to faded memories,

And this recollection reminds me of my once serene life.

These false ideas slowly break apart before my eyes,

As who once drowned in the lies is now chained to the truth.

My thirst for success blinded me from seeing my surroundings,

As I realize my heart’s starvation was more than a simple hunger.

The revelation of lies destroyed what was left of my spirit,

As every tear and heart throb made my chyme churn.

The dubiosity was the wall underneath the paint of my reality,

Since the beliefs that I once caged are now free for me to embrace.

As I begin to accept anthropomorphism as my new mentality,

I realize, this is the beginning of the lavender apocalypse.
