Moments

Masking

There's a moment,
In the transfixation.
Where all is found,
When the music stiffens.
I'm silent and focused,
Alone with my dreams.
Touching the meaning,
That I've fought to get.
It isn't everyday,
That I get the chance.
To find a moment,
Where I can rest.
Within your eyes,
Is the skeleton key.
To every door,
That is lost to me.

    such moments, visit me too
    sometimes
    but always, fleetingly...
    (thanks for sharing, dear poet)
