so, fill us with good things

arqios

.

there was a vacancy in a place
where an abyss engulfed chastity
a concept strange and quite suspect
in a world were we value prospect;
a rarity to sanely slumber at night

and receive sagely uttered sentiment
whose aid in these moonlit promises
birth occupancy in vacillating crises
perhaps a constancy redeems piety;
another word that reveals this malady

      the title is a bit like the olden day hymnal songs

      • orchidee

        Yes, I'm quite an oldie and tradtional. I don't mind some moderns songs, but when they say 'The next hymn will be 'I wanna scream it out from every mountain top', I think, 'Erm, yes - a little different there'. lol.
        Do you wanna.... as the title says?!

        that your cynicism, will fly
        past, the thoughtlessness
        of most
        makes this, Brilliant!
        'in my humble opinion'
        (forgive me
        if I've interpreted your words wrongly)

          Oh, if cynicism is akin to sarcastic verse then, this is as you have cited. Thanks, L.B.
