You're the light to my darkness
a golden glimmer of hope in the black of night
as the moon inches to the earth
eclipsed by the stormy clouds of dawn
You're the umbrella in the downpour
my shelter from the cold storm
thunder rolling overhead sounding like laughter in the night
lightening displaying the demons recoiling from its sparking light
You are my burning sun
revolving around the earth
kissing my skin with bronze lips
the centre of my solar system
