I met a broken heart just like me,
she had the same smile,
same demons beneath.
we both wanted love,
a hug that gives us peace,
to find a warm smile,
just like a cool summer breeze.
In the end what we got,
was a huge void of pain,
no matter how we struggled,
to that bottomless pit we found ourselves chained.
and stuck in this destiny of love,
we slowly were going insane.

To stop this wretched feeling we made a choice,
held each others hand trying to get free of this void.
and soon enough we saw bright lights,
in each others embrace found new heights.
Maybe it was due to the suffering we shared,
or maybe we finally had someone who actually cared.
whatever the reason we were finally in peace,
together in our world full of happy memories.
