Bend

Jason Jesko

Seems so long ago that I was fine on my own; the turn of the dial in the wink of a smile

As everything changes and I take my paces towards the deep blue and a life with you

So utterly frightened as we make amends, begin again and still can’t call you a girlfriend

One simple word changing our fate seems so foolish and still the walls refuse to break

And you feel it to, what more could you do, as I’m still my name and not your babe

So perhaps that’s the means to the end where we never break but one day bend
