BEACH

Finchy

Lovely sun sea and sand

As we walk hand in hand

So many sights to be seen

Bodies covered in sunscreen

The waves lapping at our feet

Smiling friends that we’ve yet to meet

Family laughter and children’s squeals

Let’s sit here, this spots ideal

So we can gaze and look around

Asking the beach comber what he’s found

His machine keeps going beep beep beep

You digging a hole and burying my feet

Sunbathing and swimming is for today

So let’s enjoy ourselves before we head away
