If I was the Earth

The One Who Sees

If I was the earth, I would tell people to "wake up";

for many people take this world for granted and f*** it up;

People would rather see themselves rise than save millions of lives;

They would bathe in luxuries and flaunt them to the less;

If I was the Earth, I would send them to eternal rest;

It would make them see what Earth could feel from her room;

How we cut off her arms and legs and started leaking her blood away too;

If I was the Earth, I would make them understand that there is no 'I', only a 'we';

How humanity as a whole is fighting a civil war;

How it only takes one to make millions suffer;

And how that would make the whole body buffer;

If I was the Earth, I would take it all away;

and I would set the footage to replay;

Maybe then we would stop murdering each other;

Or being selfish to one another;

And always grant a helping hand;

No matter what color or of which land;

No matter who our parents are or what they did;

Maybe then we would stay united;

Maybe then everyone would realize that we are one;

And maybe then they would see that hurting each other helps no one;

Because we are all from Earth whether we like it or not;

And if I was the Earth, I would make everyone realize that we should stop letting others rot.
