Indifferently Seen

ambernicole

I don’t feel like I gotta hide

I honestly feel glad inside

I don’t feel the tears running down my face

As you walk by at a slowed pace

As we lock eyes

I don’t feel like i’m dying on the inside

You turn to look away

As i’m standing in a dazen haze

You see me as the enemy

When really, what did you mean to me?

I hope one day

We see each other the same way

As for me

The only thing I see

Is Indifference in between
