Tuesday

Cliona

Today, everything was you

Every smell in that store

I would have bought you that,

and you would have bought me this

You would have loved it or hated it

It wouldn’t have mattered

Out on the street

And every woman was you

A handbag shuffled on a shoulder

A brisk walk

The touch of a scarf

The toss of a head

Was it you?

Out of breath from catching it

Out of the corners of my eyes

Fell tears

This is pretty sad. Not sure if it's a loss, or the end of a relationship.
