MIGRAINE

Justa_Geezer

I feel that tension slowly creep,
From the base of my spine,
Then that pain so deep,
To within my skull in shortest time.

A knot forms, in my head it lies,
So strong, almost a burn,
The pain unbearable over my eyes,
Seldom do I know which way to turn.

Like some ghost that tortures me within,
Obscuring my vision with colours and shapes,
With eyes barely open, I begin,
To move to close those open drapes.
.
Then, eyes glued wide open, and in fear,
I battle on, It's all so confusing,
The pain on my face starts to reappear,
I fight this head, but I keep on losing !

its awful, both my sisters use to suffer from it
they still do, but have learnt to cope better
was so bad before, used to ruin whole days and weeks for them..
    I'm sorry for your suffering
    thanks for sharing

I’m a fellow sufferer as well! Very good, thanks!

I have never suffered from one, but I have a good friend who does quite often !
