Can't You See

Jessi

There's something,

That once has been,

Was before,

But never since.

Your soul now empty,

All this pain that you carry,

This is not ordinary.

No emotions,

You've had them before,

But now you don't even feel you're sore.

It hurts,

There's nothing.

This pain.

It's such a beautiful gain.

Can`t you see?

This world has so much more for you,

But you flee.

Isn't it enough?

Playing hide and seek just to laugh.

Running from your life,

Cutting yourself with not only a knife.

Don't you feel?

Your emotions are like steel.

Don't you wanna laugh from heart?

Don't you wanna live a life without a worry?

Taking care of these so they go with a hurry?

Can't you see?

There's so much more for you,

...Please...

...Don't flee...

    (sometimes, we feel the need
to run, so as to survive
    sometimes, after gaining distance
    we realise
    our survival is dependant
    on the connection we just
    run from
so we turn back and try
    to make it work
other times, we keep on running
    refusing to heed our heart
    too stubborn to accept
    our mistakes
    and other, other
    times, we did well
    to Escape!..)
    lol
    thanks for sharing
