Story Unfurled

Suman_Bhattacharya

the tiny bits of paper scribbled with my words

flew away dancing hand in hand with the twilight breeze

unexpected occurrences incidents and events

changed the phrases of facts dipped in rippling chimes of past

disguised in joyous encores of the setting sun

the almighty took a different path

the matchless whom I revered myself once

the morning dew made a tale of time

melancholic minuets dancing with the fog

life shortened my stay

whereas I was busy hanging on with life

just the tiny bits of paper scribbled with my words

flew away with my story inscribed

but scattered into pieces
