rust

k1rby

deathly pale in a hospital gown,

the heart monitor's persistent beeping faded to silence.

a bullet wound to the soul,

enough to kill a man.

the fatal decay of his legs and tongue,

was enough to destroy him from the inside.

for the fortune and fame that the war brought,

was not enough to keep his soul alive.

so his body decayed along with him.
