I burn for you to know,
You inflame me when you're too close.
But I inhale your fire,
It lights my soul.
You singe my heart,
But I endure the pain.
Rushing me, drowning me.
Hot tears like lava down my face.
No oxygen left,
When you give me a taste.
I will forever melt for you,
If it means to love you.
Red-orange flames engulf my mind.
Memories of you like smoke in the sky.
Pieces of you light up my eyes.
But there is no puzzle
Of me and you to put together,
When the stars have other plans,
And the sun scorches our dreams.
