i don’t understand my feelings
never have
never will
but i feel something for you
the boy that reminds me of the moon
the light in the inky darkness
the one who calms the tides
the one who drives the waves to chaos
if you are the moon, then i am the stars
surrounding you
protecting you
loving you from a million miles away
because right now
that is what you need
maybe one day
i could be the sun to your moon
shining light on our world
working together to bring happiness and glowing joy
we might forever be far away
but our orbits are infamously aligned
