Beer πΊ how many of us drink it
Beer THOSE brands we can depend on
Beer what's your favorite beer
Beer before we go any further let's drink some beer
Beer πΊ is something we drink everyday
Some drink only one, some drink all day
Now you can ask anyone their meaning of beer
But not even the dictionary can explain beer
And if you ask me I couldn't be much help
Because drinking and judging you should do by yourself
If you drink and drive and act the fool
No matter what people say you think you're cool π
When we drink beer we think we funny
The residual effects cost so much money πΈπΈπΈ
Some grew up with beer in life everyday
Some are the in same rut to this very day
Homeboys through the summer winter π₯Ά spring and fall
If you needed beer πΊ just make that call
As the beers went down again and again
It was Budweiser Coors and shots once again
You say that you and your beer were so tight,
Until you got plastered and got into a fight.
You say you only had a beer or two
But in reality you can't remember what you do.
You wrecked you marriage and your car,
All shortly after leaving the local bar.
You took that beer π» in your hand,
After a few you couldn't stand.
You couldn't be trusted with your keys,
Even with your loved ones on their knees.
You wonder how long you've been drinking beer π»,
As far as you remember from the Early years.
I love alcohol liquor and Frito pie
When I'm drinking I'm also full of lies.
And you were really stingy with the beer π» that you had,
Looking back at it it's really really sad
But nevertheless we'll continue to drink,
Maybe after reading this you might fuckin think.

yeah, 'alcohol'
one of the world's
most devastatingly, addictive
chemicals
available for purchase, with a
'valid' ID card
anywhere and everywhere
yet, we outlaw cigarettes..
(but you see, dear Poet
that's why
depending on society, to guide us
is like
abstaining from sex
to find, righteousness:
often, one
doesn't necessarily, effect
the other..;
so the solution, must come
from within
Temperance, is the answer
we must strive for)
to 'know thy self'
while humbly, accepting
that 'we know nothing, at all'
as
in that conflicting
duality
exists, our glimpsed
Clarity...!
(we must, learn
our own, individual limitations
and search for solutions
for our perfectly fallible
natural, Failings..
and in that
we empower ourselves
to make the best of our lives:
see, while
we may have hay fever
we can learn to not smell, flowers
yet, that still doesn't prevent us
form looking upon
and appreciating
their delicate, nature's Beauty..
ergo
if we suspect, we may have a weakness
to addictive things, then
we must learn, to not
create trappings, that will hinder
our freedom
refrain, from activities
that can easily become, addictive
like
playing computer games, too much
or drinking, alcohol
just because, everyone else is)
and on...
No
we can't change the world
or force it, to be curated
so that our life's can become easier to navigate
instead
we can curate, ourselves
to insure, we can survive
whatever
the world has to throw at us!
and in that, Truth
exists
the True cure, to addiction's
plague upon Humanity..
(but who do we have
to teach this to us, before
it's, Too late...
this be the curse of Fate
and limitations, to intellect
see
no one, Fckin cares
untill, it's Too
Fckin late..!!!)
Is this a poem also this comment I'm referring to?
no sir, forgive me
i get carried away
my conceited, ego
makes me assume
I'm free to, Rudely
rant and rave
upon other peoples works
and call it, a comment..
I'm sorry
please feel free to delete
my comment
and I'll be sure to refrain
in the future
I meant no disrespect
I just get carried away
time n again
being the fool I am..
such is life..
forgive me, dear Poet
lol
