Reborn

Reborn

At the end of each day

Succumbing to a resting stage

Renewal of our sanctified vessel

Mode of rectifying

Reconstructing, newness

Take us into unknowns

Surrounded by blankness

Not in control

As an unborn

Uncertain

Grabbing unto a heart’s beat,

Sounds of light

Darkness surrounding our senses

Plagued with nightmares and

Confusing dreams

Until the promised morning light

Illuminating

Our renewed, strengthened

Soul

Reborn

As we begin each day
