Happy?

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

Are you truly happy with your life?

Worked to death but clothes, cars, money and a wife

Oh yeah also that expensive mortgage too

You didn't move to a nice area, It's just a human zoo

I know this poem reads crazy like the writer lost his mind

Money is not power, that thought please leave behind

The planet broke, poor kids depressed, no luck

You say your woke, that brain messed up

Perception is your master key

This is no Beatles song, we can't just let it be

I had a dream that I was going to buy a Beatles Album - true. But it was a rare one or something, too expensive for me - then I woke up!

Haha! I've been having strange dreams myself lately but most I can't remember.

That question mark just struck the man in the back of his head...was that a pate?

      • Shaunmatthewcpoetry

Hahah I didn't even realise that, a pate? sorry don't follow.

          thanks for sharing, dear Poet
          indeed!
          'turning keys, without
          first
          having to twist ourselves
          to fit
          is that, distance
          between, life's realities
          and our ethereal, dreams'
          (or so I think)
          lol
