The Spell of the Ocean

sam_dc

I stand on the headland and look into the abyss
Searching
Wondering
Waiting for the call of the sea
Her cries hit me deep within
Springing forth from an inner well
She races up, desperate to be heard
I struggle to contain her calls
An inner conflict playing out inside
She draws me to her
I am a willing servant
I take a leap
I'm engulfed in her beauty
Her water envelopes me
A cold powerful embrace
She needs me
I need her
We are as one
Our souls entwined forever more
