Aquarium

sorenbarrett

Watching you suffer from behind a glass wall

In despair I can't help you at all

I put you there, its my fault its true

To look at your beauty and take your liberty too

You're a prisoner looking back at me

Crying for pity, and asking for mercy

I feel as if I have no shame

Don't I know we're responsible for what we tame?

Neat little humans, taming everything in site, aren't we just super.

Thank you for your review and comment. Yes try to tame even others in our relationships.

Where does this deep need for control come from?

      • sorenbarrett

Thank you Dave for your review and question. I am not sure but it seems that humans have a need to dominate and control. Be it pets, relationships, sports, business or our own bodies
