It may be dark;
but tonight
effervescent lights dance
to a blaring par-tay tune
while in the shadows, we parlay...
reach over me
and flick the switch;
let bokeh find clarity
in our fervent embrace.

Good write CB.
I was gonna change a light bulb that fizzled out, but it was night. I fell down the stairs in the dark, before I got the light bulb from the cupboard downstairs. Doh!
Did I? lol.
That’s the other take on lights in the night! Marvellous. 🪩
this is so good my poor old eyes can see for yards ..
all joking aside though, I think this is a little blinder .. and has clarified and confirmed my love of poetry ...
