Me & You

transprodigalson

I wonder,
When you look at me,
If I'm the only one you see;
The only one who haunts your dreams.

You wonder,
When I look at you,
If there's someone new I see;
A ghost of the person you used to be.

    Time, is a strange
    friend
    at once, it distances us
    from pain and hurt
    yet belatedly, after Time
    has elapsed, makes us realise
    that we yearn - for, we
    already had
    and no amount of 'new'
    unboxings
    will chase away that simple
    truth...
    (a great shorty
    thanks for sharing. dear poet)
