Sincere Servants

Tune: Monks Gate

('He who would valiant be')

Psalm 34 v.15-22

********

Eyes of the Lord are on

The righteous, each one

His ears open to their

Prayers, does for them care

But His face is against

Evil, impenitence

Memory of evil

He destroys it all

Righteous call, the Lord hears

Saves them from their fears

Brings them out of troubles

E'en through stumbles, falls

The Lord is nigh to they

Broken-hearted today

Saves such as be lowly

Of spirit wholly

Many the afflictions

Of the righteous ones

But he Lord saves them, He

Their keeper, guard be

Brings them out of them all

Answers their needy call

They shall again Him praise

And thanks to him raise

Evil shall slay wicked

They shall fear and dread

They who do righteous hate

Their downfall not late

Shall be, but the Lord He

Redeems souls of they, see

Who Him trust and Him serve

He shall them preserve
