Like a Mirage

Arvy

So deceiving you smile at me

Eyes sparkling like water under sunlight

Your skin, a silky blanket

Your figure so tempting as you walk on water

Combined all features of grace and tenderness in your gaze

Got me imagining what would it be like to be in your space

You go where you belong in the embrace of the angel

Made me feel like a poisonous flower

Do you feel the rush and do you desire

Does the magnitude of the tension make you want to devour

Your honor is hanging by a thread that could rupture

All that you have been building what you would call a “structure”

You must be mortified of the rain that you did not foresee

The power i hold could drown you and me

Sinking deep like broken submarines in the dark blue sea

Small particles of emotions colliding to birth an adversity

Will you be strong enough to withstand this unity

I possess the freedom, but you are trapped in captivity

I have mercy on you, you did not choose to be in such an absurdity

Forgive me dear for my arrogance, I can’t help my imaginary

The solitude of my heart ignited this fervor

These words are for me to remember

You are like a mirage so promising but deceptive

Beautiful dreams that are being destructive
