Bare-foot, I walk along the beach
Enjoying every second with my own company.
The sand is sticking all over my body,
And the waves wash over my feet.
I sit down and stare at the golden sky,
The sun is going down and I can see the line where the
sky meets the sea; the horizon.
I let myself drown the moment of ecstasy,
And I melt with more happiness as I hear the water
slap against the rocks.
It’ll soon get dark and the tides will rise high,
But I wish I can stay there forever,
No responsibilities, no drama
Nothing; just me, myself and I.
